National Convent on the EU is a platform for a professional and narrowly focused debate on a national level discussing central issues of the Slovak membership in the EU. NC is a forum open to all Slovak citizens willing to participate in a discussion on EU policies and Slovak Republic positions. Members of the National Convent represent all key segments of the Slovak society – non-governmental organizations, religious communities, interest groups, local government, economic and cultural spheres, political parties and executive. The outcome of the National Convent on the European Union (NCEU) is a set of recommendations to the Slovak representatives responsible for national positions on common and individual sector policies of the EU.
