The aim of this one day conference is threefold: first, to discuss the state of the EU relations with its Eastern partners and Russia; second to examine the evolving frameworks for the EU policy towards six East European neighbours within the Eastern Partnership (EaP), including the Partnership for Modernization (PfM) with Russia; and finally, to review the policy paper prepared by RC SFPA, including policy recommendations on developing a regional strategic framework for the EU Eastern policy through identification of possible synergies between both EU East European partnerships.
