CENTRAL EUROPEAN ENERGY CONFERENCE (CEEC) IN BRATISLAVA THIS MONDAY

The CEEC is organized under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger and the Mayor of the Capital City of Bratislava Matúš Vallo.

On behalf of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association, we are pleased to invite you to watch the online live stream of the 15th annual Central European Energy Conference (CEEC XV): The Post-Pandemic Green Recovery. The conference will take place on Monday, November 22, 2021, and you will be able to follow the panel discussions on current topics throughout the day. We start at 08:55 in the morning.

We will discuss Recovery and Resilience Plans in V4 countries with the Representatives of the Governments of these countries. We will address the issues of reducing emissions in cities, the role of natural gas under the Fit for 55 package, the new forms of energy storage, sustainability in rail transport and decarbonisation in industry. It is a long-running tradition that the representative of the International Energy Agency is going to speak at the conference and present the flagship publication, the World Energy Outlook (WEO) Report.

The speakers include many domestic and foreign guests among which are the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger, the Minister for Innovation and Technology of Hungary László Palkovics, the Minister of Climate and Environment of the Republic of Poland Anna Moskwa, the Minister of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic Andrej Doležal, the Minister of Environment of the Slovak Republic Ján Budaj, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Ingrid Brocková, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic Karol Galek, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marian Piecha, the Chief Energy Economist at International Energy Agency Tim Gould, the mayors of the capitals of the V4 countries and many others.

The CEEC is organized under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger and the Mayor of the Capital City of Bratislava Matúš Vallo.
