The Annual Review Conference on the Foreign and European Policy of SR is a platform that holds a distinctive position in public foreign policy debate. It is a space where those who bear constitutional and political responsibility for the foreign policy of this country regularly meet with those who are not indifferent to Slovakia's foreign policy. The standard of the event is a broad participation of the diplomatic corps. Traditionally, the event is attended by the highest constitutional officials.

A yearly European conference in Slovakia each year focuses on different topics, based on what is currently the most relevant within the EU affairs. In 2022, Conference on the Future of Europe was addressed, while in 2023, the focus shifted towards the Russian aggression against Ukraine. In 2024, the issue of further enlargement of the EU will set the agenda, as there is a variety of very topical questions to discuss. The conference will consist of four panel discussions, combining expertise from across Europe.

With the aim of strengthening cooperation among the think tanks of the Visegrad countries in the field of energy, as well as promoting dialogue between the academic sector and decision-makers in this area, REKK (HU) as coordinator, along with SFPA (SK), the Instytut Jagielloński (PL) and AMO (CZ) as partners, have initiated the launching of the V4 Energy Think Tank Platform (V4ETTP) as a permanent think tank cooperation platform focusing on energy, operating from 2018. In 2022 the Polish partnership was taken over by the Centre for Eastern Studies, OSW.

The Annual Review Conference on the Foreign and European Policy of the Slovak Republic is a platform that has a special position in the public foreign policy discourse. The uniqueness of this year’s edition will lie in its scope, as the conference will evaluate a period exceeding one year, the period of the Slovak Republic's existence in a changing geopolitical, security policy and foreign policy environment, which only underlines the exceptional place of the conference in the foreign policy debate in the Slovak Republic.

The aim of the 15th CEEC conference is to discuss the upcoming changes in energy sector. The consequences of Covid-19 pandemic created an opportunity to speed up necessary changes of energy sector.
