Decarbonization and Just Transition in the V4: Experiences of the Visegrad countries

This publication is part of the project Strengthening Serbian civil society organizations involved in the decarbonization process through V4 experiences. The project focuses on strengthening civil society organizations in Serbia with the aim of more successful advocacy and greater participation in policy-making in the field of ecological transformation, with a particular focus on the phasing out of coal mining.

The project will create a platform for discussion between civil society organizations and relevant Serbian state institutions on compliance with the EU’s climate goals and those set by the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans. In addition, the project will enable the transfer of know-how between the V4 countries and Serbia in the field of decarbonization, including the role of civil society organizations in this process.
